2 injured, including a 5-year-old boy, injured after shooting in Casselberry – Orlando Sentinel

A 23-year-old man and a 5-year-old boy were both shot in the leg Monday morning at 31 Jackson Court in Casselberry, Casselberry police said.

According to the police, the suspect and the weapon have been located, but the shooting appears to be an accident. Criminal charges are still pending.

The child was transported to Arnold Palmer Hospital in stable condition and is currently undergoing surgery. The other victim was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center in stable condition.

This investigation is still ongoing.
