5-year-old dies two days after being shot in Winton Hills drive-by, police say

A 5-year-old boy died Saturday after a drive-by shooting in Winton Hills, Cincinnati police said in a news release.

About 5 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to the report of gunshots fired at a home on the 5200 block of Holland Drive.

Officers on scene found Artagist Stanford III suffering from a gunshot wound.

Stanford was transported to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He succumbed to his injuries two days later, police said.

The Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating. No information has been released about possible suspects.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 513-352-3542.
