5th District Forum held in Kokomo

Mar. 30—Candidates for Indiana’s 5th Congressional District will participate in a forum at a Kokomo church next month.

The forum will be held April 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church, 2635 S. Dixon Road. The doors open at 5:30 PM. The event is free and open to the public.

According to the church’s website, the participants are Republicans Victoria Sparta; Raju Chinthala; Max Engling; Chuck Goodrich; Highlight pain; Matthew Peiffer; Lonnie Powell; Larry Savage Jr.; Democrat Deborah Pickett and independent Roby Slaughter.

The forum is sponsored by both the Biblical Citizenship in Modern America Team and Bible Baptist Church. The moderator will be Josh Hershberger, a lawyer, minister and podcaster from Hanover.

The candidates introduce themselves and answer prepared questions and questions from the audience. The public can submit questions before the start of the forum, but these will be reviewed.
