7 shots, 1 fatal, at party in West Philadelphia: Police

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Six people were injured and one person was killed in a mass shooting at a West Philadelphia party, according to police.

Police arrived at the scene on Creighton Street near Wyalusing Avenue and found several people with gunshot wounds.

The victims were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Nearly 40 shell casings were found on site.

Police have not released any information about the shooter or shooters.
