Despite clouds and a chance of rain in the forecast, New York City’s dry spell continued into the weekend, now at 15 days.
Meanwhile, there are dangerous rip currents and coastal flood warnings still along much of the coastline on Monday.
NYC weather forecast today
Monday will start with mostly cloudy and cool weather, with temperatures between 10 and 16 degrees.
The afternoon will remain cloudy, with some showers and drizzle, especially west of the city. Highs will be between 60 and 70 degrees.
In the evening it will continue to rain some, while it will cool down to about 4 to 5 degrees.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with highs around 17 degrees Celsius again.
Weather forecast for NYC this week
Looking ahead, there is a 40 percent chance of showers on Wednesday, with highs again in the upper 60s to near 70s.
On Thursday there is a 60 percent chance of showers and highs around 21 degrees.
Friday is the warmest weekend of the week: partly cloudy and less humid, with temperatures around 21 degrees.
