WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump promoted watches bearing his name Thursday, his latest involvement in a series of business endeavors while simultaneously campaigning for the White House.

“You’ll love it. It would make a great Christmas gift,” Trump said in a Truth Social post with a link to the supplier’s website.

Some of the most expensive watches listed on the website cost $100,000. A cheaper type of watch referred to on the site as “Fight Fight Fight,” in reference to what Trump sang as he left the stage in July after being shot in the ear in an assassination attempt, ranges from $499 to $799.

A disclaimer on the website says the supplier, TheBestWatchesonEarth LLC, “uses Trump’s name, image and likeness under a paid license agreement.”

A Trump campaign spokesman referred questions about the agreement and Trump’s involvement in the business effort to the Trump Organization. Neither the Trump Organization nor TheBestWatchesonEarth LLC immediately responded to requests for comment.

“Trump Watches are not designed, manufactured, distributed or sold by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization or any of their respective affiliates or principals,” the website states. It added that the watches “are not political and have nothing to do with any political campaign.”

The FAQ section of the website highlights the question: “Are these official watches of President Trump?”

“These are only official watches offered by President Trump and feature a replica of his famous signature!” is the answer.

Democrats have previously dismissed Trump’s similar business efforts, and Harris spokesman Ammar Moussa criticized Trump’s move on X.

“Donald Trump is selling $100,000 worth of watches. No joke. Trump is more focused on himself than anyone else,” the post said.

According to the product website, the watches from Trump, who has been outspoken about prioritizing American-made products, contain Swiss-made materials. Several photos of the dials shown on the site say “Swiss made.”

The watches are the latest in a series of products Trump has promoted in recent years by licensing his name, image and likeness, including a sneaker line and NFT trading cards. Trump has promoted $60 branded Bibles in partnership with country artist Lee Greenwood, and Trump family members have also launched a crypto platform.
