According to SEPTA, train service on the Thorndale Line was suspended in both directions between Center City and Thorndale Station on Monday afternoon.

Jammed overhead wires caused the problem, SEPTA posted on social media.

Amtrak and SEPTA crews have cleared the area and begun repairs, officials said, but service will remain suspended until repairs are completed.

Alternative service suggestions are available through the SEPTA Trip Planner.

Trains have been standing still for several hours.
