Three people have been injured in a stabbing attack in Monterey County near Salinas

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing that injured three people near Salinas on Sunday, sheriff’s officials said.

Just before 10 p.m. Sunday, a call came in reporting a stabbing in the 300 block of Bollenbacher Drive in the Bolsa Knolls area northeast of Salinas, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Officers found three people with injuries consistent with stabbings. They were taken to a hospital and are all expected to survive.

The Sheriff’s Office has not said more about this case other than to say there is no threat to the community and that more information will be released at a later date.
