A 30-year-old man was beaten to death in his Bronx home, police said Sunday.
Officers responding to a 911 call of an assault in progress found the victim, Kristopher Samaroo, fatally injured with blunt force trauma to his body, on Throngs Neck Expressway near Barkley Ave in Throgs Neck on Saturday around 6:10 p.m.
Medics took Samaroo to Jacobi Hospital, but he could not be saved.
The police have made no arrests.
His killing is the fourth homicide this year in the 45th Precinct, where five homicides occurred in all of 2023, according to NYPD statistics.
