The Bay Area can expect mostly sunny to cloudy skies during the day on Sunday, but more rain will fall early Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Daytime highs are usually in the 50s to 60s on the coast, low to high 50s around the bay, and in the 50s to 60s inland.

A frost advisory is in effect for the entire area until 9 a.m. and a flood advisory remains in effect near Santa Rosa and the Bayshore coast until noon. A coastal flooding advisory for tidal flooding in low-lying areas along San Francisco and San Pablo Bays remains in effect until Monday.

Overnight lows will mostly be in the high 30s to mid 40s. The North Bay and possibly San Francisco and the Peninsula will see rain during the early hours of the commute, around 8 a.m.

The heaviest rain will probably be around 10 or 11am. The heaviest rain will have moved east by the afternoon, but there may still be some isolated, scattered showers in the afternoon, especially in the more North Bay and Inland East Bay communities. .
