A casino guest gambled on winning the weekend and took home more than $28,000 on December 1 in East Peoria.
The player, a guest at Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino located on the Illinois River, bet just $12.50 on the winning game, Dragon Cash. They left with a prize of $28,887.

Another Dragon Cash player won $34,725 in a recent game. In August, a player won $40,000 on a Clem’s Gems slot machine. In June, a player won $31,000 on a small slots bet, and in April, a player won more than $50,000 on a Dragon Spin game.
The casino, operated by Boyd Gaming Corporation, features more than a dozen table games. Visitors can also find more than 500 slot and video poker machines.
