A dump truck accident shuts down the Arcadia intersection and creates a mess

A dump truck full of dirt and concrete was involved in a multi-vehicle accident at an intersection in Arcadia, which closed roads in the area for cleanups and an investigation.

The accident happened around 9 a.m. Wednesday on Santa Anita Avenue and E. Huntington Drive, involving the truck and two other vehicles. The truck hit a fire hydrant and overturned, sending dirt and concrete fragments all over the road. Crews from the Arcadia Fire Department helped the driver out.

All injuries were reported to be moderate to minor. An investigation is underway into the cause of the accident. Roads have been closed in the affected area.
