(CBS DETROIT) – Crews responded to a fire at DTE Energy’s electrical substation in Detroit on Friday.

The fire started in the building on Howard Street.

The utility said Detroit Fire Department and DTE crews secured the area, which is currently under investigation.

No injuries have been reported.

“Power has been turned off at the facility to ensure the safety of the area, and for the safety of our crews and first responders. Electricity has been rerouted to nearby buildings and there are no outages related to this incident,” a DTE spokesperson said . in a statement.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
