Gracie Abrams is a pop girl to watch.
For her Saturday evening live debuting on December 14, Abrams added five additional shows to “The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour” due to overwhelming demand. General public tickets for Abrams’ first arena tour went on sale on December 13.
On December 9, Abrams announced that she would be embarking on the North American leg of her upcoming “The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour.” The news came less than 24 hours after opening for Taylor Swift at the final “Eras Tour” show in Vancouver, Canada.
Since releasing her second album, The secret of usIn June 2024, the pop singer’s career continues to reach new heights. Whether she’s joining her “Us” collaborator and mentor Taylor Swift on stage as the opening act during the North American legs of her “Eras Tour” or earning her first-ever Billboard No. 1 with “That’s So True,” Abrams has she already has several career milestones to her name. It seems like she won’t be stopping anytime soon.

June 21: The secret of us album release
While touring with Swift’s ‘Eras Tour,’ Abrams debuts her second studio album, The secret of uswith the singles ‘Risk’, ‘Close to You’ and ‘I Love You, I’m Sorry’. The secret of us comes just a year after Abrams’ first studio album, 2023’s Tidy and tidy, was released.
“The energy of the music I made this year feels like running home to tell your best friend every detail of your night,” Abrams told Elle ahead of the release. The secret of us. “This time there’s almost a satirical, dramatic element to the music – not that I haven’t been obscenely, obscenely dramatic in the past, but I was laughing while writing these songs.”
June 28: The secret of us hits number 1 in Great Britain and Australia
A week after release, The secret of us skyrockets to No. 1 in Britain and Australia, becoming Abrams’ first chart-topping album of her career. Abrams’ second album tops the UK’s Official Albums Chart and ARIA’s Top 10 Albums Chart in Australia.
“I can’t ignore it,” Abrams wrote on Instagram about the milestone. “I’m just grateful to all of you. I can’t wait to come and play the songs together.”
July 1: The secret of us is number 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart
Abrams achieves another first: her first No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart. The secret of us According to data from Luminate, it will sell 50,000 copies in the United States in the week ending June 27. The album’s success in its first week is largely attributed to the release of its seven vinyl variants – all color variations, two of which were only available from Abrams’ online store. Vinyl sales comprise 41,000 of the album’s total sales that week.
July 15: UK and European tour dates announced
The 25-year-old singer announces UK and European tour dates in support of The secret of us. Abrams’ four-and-a-half-week tour kicks off in Madrid in February 2025 and ends in Glasgow, Scotland on March 12.
July 17: Release of the “I Love You, I’m Sorry” music video
Abrams’ music video for the single “I Love You, I’m Sorry,” written and directed by her close friend and collaborator Audrey Hobert, features her spending a summer day with friends before accepting the Cock of the Year award.
August 31: Tour dates for Australia and New Zealand announced
The “Us” singer-songwriter announces she is taking “The Secret of Us Tour” to Australia and New Zealand. Beginning April 29, 2025, Abrams will visit six cities, including Auckland, New Zealand; Sydney and Melbourne, Australia over the course of two weeks.
September 5: North American leg of ‘The Secret of Us Tour’ begins
Abrams takes the stage in Portland, Oregon, for the first of 23 sold-out shows of “The Secret of Us Tour.”
“Portland, thank you so much for being our first show back,” she captioned a post on Instagram. “I feel so lucky to know you.”
October 18: The secret of our Deluxe album release
Abrams Releases The secret of our Deluxe album with seven additional songs that she teased on Instagram a few days earlier. The extensive track list consists of four new songs and three live versions, including ‘That’s So True’, ‘I Told You Things’ and ‘I Love You, I’m Sorry (Live From Vevo)’.
October 18: Back on the ‘Eras Tour’
Abrams returns to Swift in Miami as her opening act for the remaining “Eras Tour” dates. The “Close to You” singer initially joined Swift on the “Eras Tour” from March to August 2023.
“I will never forget what this felt like,” Abrams wrote on Instagram after her return. “Being back on this tour feels like coming home.”
October 30: Kamala Harris rally appearance
Ahead of the 2024 election, Abrams attends Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. In addition to performing “I Love You, I’m Sorry,” Abrams is urging Generation Z voters to support the Harris-Walz campaign. “a very difficult time.”
“It’s easy to get discouraged, but we know better. We know that unless we vote and keep our democracy intact, we can’t do anything to solve the problem when it’s our turn,” Abrams told the crowd.
November 8: Earns a 2025 Grammy nomination
Abrams scores her second-ever Grammy nomination ahead of the 2025 awards show. She is nominated alongside Swift for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Us,” their duet on Abrams’sThe secret of our Deluxe.
During the ‘Eras Tour’ show in Toronto on November 16, Swift recalled the moment she and Abrams found out they were nominated.
“You can’t even imagine the phone conversation between the two of us when the nominations were announced and we saw that that song was nominated,” she said. “It was just screaming. It wasn’t even words, it was just wild screaming throughout the entire conversation.”
That evening, Abrams joined the ‘Fortnight’ pop star on stage during her acoustic set to perform a mash-up of ‘Us’ and Swift’s. 1989 single ‘Out of the woods’. The Swift-assisted song debuted at number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100.
November 18: ‘That’s So True’ tops the Billboard chart
“That’s So True”, a bonus track from The secret of our Deluxebecomes Abrams’ first No. 1 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs Chart. According to data from Luminate, the song takes the top spot after 23.5 million streams, up 25%, in the week ending November 14. The song also gave Abrams her first top 10 single on Billboard’s Hot 100, reaching No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. 6 spot with 24 million streams and almost 2 million in airplay audience impressions, Luminate also reported.
November 18: Attends first public event with friend Paul Mescal
Abrams accompanies Gladiator II star Paul Mescal to the film’s premiere afterparty in Los Angeles, marking the first time the pair have attended a public event as a couple. The “Us” singer and Normal people star have been romantically linked since June 2024.
December 3: Asia tour dates announced
Abrams will go to Asia for the first time with “The Secret of Us Tour” in 2025. Ahead of her Australian tour, Abrams announces she will play seven shows in cities including Seoul, South Korea, Tokyo and Bangkok in April.
December 8: Final performance of ‘Eras Tour’
Before she performs her final “Eras Tour,” set for Dec. 8 in Vancouver, Canada, Abrams reads an emotional speech to the audience in which she admits she is “not ready for it to be over.”
“Just like all of you, me [was] raised on Taylor’s songs,” she says. “Magically, I needed a moment in my life that I thought no one could understand or know, or hurt or long for or love or lose, and yet she did.”
December 9: ‘The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour’ announced
Abrams announces on Instagram that she will be touring North America again, this time in support of The secret of our Deluxe album. She will play venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. This will be Abrams’ first headlining arena tour.
December 12: Five new shows added to the tour
Upon request, Abrams announces five more arena shows for “The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour.” She will now perform back-to-back nights in Boston, New York, Morrison, Colorado and Mexico City.
December 12: ‘Saturday Night Live’ promotion
Abrams appears alongside comedian Chris Rock and Saturday evening live cast member Heidi Gardner in a new promo for the December 14 episode.
December 13: Ticket sales for ‘The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour’
Tickets for Abrams’ “The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour” go on sale to the general public. While some fans were lucky enough to score pre-sale tickets, others waited in the Ticketmaster queue to be greeted by sky-high resale prices.
Abrams will perform at iHeart Radio’s Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Other performers at the annual event include Katy Perry, Tate McRae, Teddy Swims and Shaboozey.
