A man tried to lure three children into a car in Bridgeport, police say

A man tried to lure three children into a car in the Bridgeport neighborhood on Sunday, Chicago police said.

The children were playing on the sidewalk in the 3100 block of South Halsted Street just after 8 a.m. when a man in the passenger seat of a gray sedan asked to use their cell phone and then tried to get the children into the car, a police spokesman said on Monday. police alert released.
