BUFFALO, Minn. — For anyone who thinks there is no hope, there absolutely is.
That’s what leaders of a new drug treatment campus want people to know.
RockBridge Treatment and Recovery’s facility in Buffalo is located on 80 acres northwest of the metro and has 40 beds. They are ready to help those in need.
“For some people, it’s whether they get help or not, because they know everything is at stake,” said Jeff Jensen of RockBridge Treatment and Recovery.
Operated by Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge, it is the newest of 18 treatment centers and aims to provide a safe and comfortable rehab experience.
The facility is the treatment center of the future: people, including working parents, can work remotely and contact loved ones.
Featuring more than two miles of trails, a gym, nutritious food, a coffee shop and more, the recovery program provides adults 18 or older with 21 to 90 days of help to get them back on track.
‘I emphasize — the addict suffers, families suffer and it is incredibly difficult,” Jensen said.
The Minnesota Department of Health says there has been a sharp increase in opioid overdose deaths since 2018.
Rockbridge recognizes that it is difficult and is trying to bridge that gap.
“There is so much good in these people,” Jensen said.
“There is always hope,” says Krysia Weidell of RockBridge Treatment and Recovery.
RockBridge says anyone needing advice can call 844-815-7625. A faith-based recovery program is also optional. Read more on their website.
