A teenager from the South Milwaukee Police Department has enlisted the public’s help in locating the safe

A 17-year-old girl who has been asked by the South Milwaukee police for help from the public in locating it was brought to safety on Sunday.

The girl was registered as “a runaway” with the department on Dec. 29, 2022, South Milwaukee police said.

She was with her grandmother in Milwaukee and is “doing fine,” police said Sunday night.
