The New York Rangers have officially announced that Adam Edström will be out two and a half to three and a half months with a injury in the lower body.
Edström suffered this apparent injury against the Boston Bruins on Saturday afternoon when he left the game and did not return.
While Edström was absent for Sunday evening’s game against the Vegas Golden Knights, his status was officially cleared on Tuesday before the team’s training.
The 24-year-old attacker has five goals, four assists and nine points registered in 51 games while it became an average of 9:16 minutes.
