a Channel 2 Action News photographer spoke at the scene with a resident of a nearby apartment complex who said the situation was “pretty scary.”

“I walk into the building and I see, I don’t know if there was any disturbance in the building, but I did see some drops of blood in the elevator,” said resident Althee Bolton.

Although police did not speak to the residents, Bolton said the building’s management reached out to make some efforts to address the incident. She said the building’s caretaker said someone had been shot in front of the building.
