Police are investigating a shooting that happened in the middle of the day in a southwest Atlanta neighborhood.
The shooting happened around 11:25 a.m. on Addington Street, near MLK Jr. Drive.

NewsChopper 2 flew over the scene at noon for Channel 2 Action News and saw police focusing their investigation on two houses.
A crime scene was cordoned off at both homes.

The police cannot yet say what led to the shooting, nor can they say anything about the condition of the victim.
