“Several passengers” were killed in a collision between a charter bus and a passenger car late Sunday night on Interstate 81 in Dauphin County in southeastern Pennsylvania, state police said.
The bus, carrying 45-50 passengers, flipped on its side and came to rest on the right shoulder, police said, adding that several people were taken to Hershey Medical Center with various injuries.
The Chambers Hill Fire Department opened as a passenger reunification center. The Red Cross would also be present.
Dauphin County is home to the state capital, Harrisburg, and Hershey Park.
