Baltimore County man arrested in connection with road rage incident Anne Arundel County

Maryland State Police have arrested a Baltimore County man in connection with a road rage incident in Anne Arundel County.

The 24-year-old is charged with aggravated assault, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and other related offenses, according to a state police news release.

State police began investigating the incident after receiving a report Wednesday that a motorist pointed a firearm at the complainant during an argument over road rage on I-97 north of Route 50 in Annapolis, the news release said.

The prosecutor described the suspect’s vehicle as a black Audi sedan.

Investigators identified and located the vehicle and its driver. When they arrested the 24-year-old man, they found a loaded handgun, the news release said.

He was taken to the Maryland State Police Annapolis Barracks for processing. He was released on unsecured bail following his initial appearance in district court.
