SMALL TRAPS, Minn. – A 61-year-old Motley man died Sunday morning after a motorcycle accident in northern Minnesota.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened around 11:10 a.m. in Scandia Township, just south of Motley.

The driver, Curtis Sievert, was thrown from his motorcycle while making a turn on 320th Street. He died on the spot.

Sheriff’s office says Sievert wasn’t wearing a helmet. The crash is still under investigation.
