British intelligence alleges that Putin’s “United Russia” is trying to consolidate the Kremlin’s influence in the occupied territories of Ukraine by holding pseudo-elections there.

It is noted that the Russian authorities in the occupied parts of Ukraine plan to hold mock elections there on September 8 and 10 – in parallel with the elections in Russia. Voting has already started in Mariupol and parts of Zaporizhia oblast.
