Britney Spears let her fans know how she feels after her split from husband Sam Asghari.
The “Piece of Me” singer, who married the actor in June 2022, took to the stage Friday night to share a video of her dancing. The caption alluded to the breakup, which came after , citing “irreconcilable differences.”
“As everyone knows, Hesam and I are not together anymore… 6 years is a long time to be with someone so I am a bit shocked but… I am not here to explain why because nobody really cares On !!! But honestly, I couldn’t take the pain anymore,” she wrote. “In a kind of telepathic way I have received so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you!!! I’ve been playing it strong for far too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that!!!
The intersection actress added that she “would love to show my emotions and tears about how I really feel, but for some reason I’ve always had to hide my weaknesses”, noting “if I’m not the strong soldier of was my father, I would be sent away to places to be fixed by doctors Spears’s father, Jamie, was her conservator until September 2021, when he went after the pop star.

This is the first time Spears has publicly commented on the end of her marriage. on Thursday, writing, “After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together. We will hold on to the love and respect we have for each other and I always wish her well. Shit happens.”
