Cabin odor causes United Airlines plane to be diverted to Pittsburgh International Airport

A United Airlines flight made a precautionary landing at Pittsburgh International Airport on Saturday evening.

A spokesperson for Pittsburgh International Airport said United Airlines Flight 2294 landed safely after being diverted to them.

United Airlines said there was an odor coming from the cabin and the plane had landed as a precaution. They did not say what caused the smell.

All passengers deplaned normally.

Another plane was called to take the passengers to their destination.
