Police in Winter Springs are investigating a shooting that left a child injured.
The shooting happened Friday afternoon at an apartment complex on Mowbry Lane.
Police have not released many details about the shooting, but they expect the child to be OK.

Investigators said a man began banging on the door of an apartment at the back of the complex.
Then the man shot through the door and the bullet hit a child inside.

Police have not released the age of the child, the age of the shooter, or whether there is a relationship with anyone in the apartment.
Neighbors didn’t want to see what happened on camera, but one man called it chaos.

He said this is the second time he has seen violence at the complex, but nothing was as serious as this shooting.
