The Greenville Chamber of Commerce is seeking sponsors for the fifth annual Warmth Drive fundraiser to benefit Hunt County Seniors Service Alliance. Sponsorship levels range from $50 to $2,000. There will also be a wrapping party starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church at 3103 Terrell Drive in Greenville. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.

On Tuesday, December 3 at noon, the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum will host Bill Huthmacher of the British Flying Training School Museum in Terrell as a presenter. During World War II, thousands of British cadets learned to fly at a civilian training school in Terrell. More than 2,200 cadets from the Royal Air Force and the United States Army Air Corps earned their wings over North Texas between 1941 and 1945. Admission is free for museum members; otherwise there is general admission of $6 adults, $4 for seniors/veterans/students and $2 for 6-18 years old.
