CRAIG COUNTY, Oklahoma — Country music star Zach Bryan was arrested Thursday night for allegedly obstructing an investigation, KTLA’s sister station KFOR reported.
He was admitted to the Craig County Jail just before 7 p.m. Details remain limited and it is unclear what led to his arrest.
Zach Bryan posted a message statement about the incident on X, formerly known as Twitter, about an hour after leaving the Craig County Jail:
“Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the better of me and I went too far in the things I said.
I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated at the time, it was different to me and I apologize. They took me to jail, and there’s a police photo of me floating around.
Prayers we can all get over this and prayers people know I’m just doing my best I love you guys and I’m really sorry to the cops.
KFOR has contacted the Craig County Sheriff’s Office but has not heard back yet.
