Court documents detail the stabbing of four girls at the Braintree cinema

Braintree police filed an arrest warrant for Jared Ravizza in Quincy District Court on Tuesday.

He is being attacked with intent to kill for stabbing four girls at the AMC theater in Braintree on Saturday.

According to the police report, one of the victims told police that she was eating snacks with her two younger sisters and a friend before the movie started and suddenly felt a poke in her back.

“I turned my head to the left and saw them all being stabbed,” the victim told police.

According to the police report, the victims say they got a better look at the suspect as he walked away.

Police now confirm this was Ravizza.

“He had a smile on his face that looked like it was sculpted out of a horror movie, he was freaky, he had wrinkles on his face, his face was so animated and he laughed like the Joker,” said one of the victims. to the police.

The victim’s younger sister, who is only 9 years old, told police that her arm had been severed.

“I have 20 stitches on the outside and 12 stitches on the inside, he completely cut my arm,” the victim said.

The girls also told police that even though they were crying, AMC employees didn’t believe they had been stabbed until they saw the blood.

Police say the theater manager tried to stop the suspect when he didn’t have a ticket, so Ravizza left, but that manager didn’t see it when he came back in to attack those girls.

“This crime appears to be completely senseless and random, committed against completely defenseless, innocent children,” Braintree police said in a statement Tuesday. “We would like to draw attention to the courage shown by these four young women, both in the aftermath of the incident and during their recovery.”

The Braintree Police Chief also thanks his officers for quickly helping the victims, and for notifying state police about the suspect and his car so state troopers could track him down and ultimately arrest him in Sandwich.

Ravizza appeared in Plymouth District Court on Tuesday accused of stabbing two McDonald’s workers in Plymouth shortly after the Braintree cinema stabbing. He still faces arraignment in Quincy District Court for the Braintree stabbing.

Police believe he committed these crimes just hours after stabbing a man to death in Deep River, CT.

Ravizza also has an open case in Martha’s Vineyard, where he was arrested last month for assaulting his father.
