If you love the NFL and have the Yahoo Sports app, listen up! There is now a feature in the app that allows you to chat with fellow fans of your favorite football team, as well as Yahoo Sports experts. The tool is called Game Discussions and is designed to help you experience the biggest sporting moments with fans across the country during live games.

And guess what? Yahoo Sports’ very own NFL analysts and Football 301 hosts, Nate Tice and Charles McDonald, will be online during the big showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football to get in on the action. They talk to fans (that could be you) and answer as many questions as possible.

The feature will be available during every NFL game for the rest of the season. Make sure you have the latest version of the Yahoo Sports app to participate.

Here’s how to access the new Game Reviews feature on Thursday nights so you can celebrate with (or vent to) colleagues when your team scores a touchdown, turns the ball over, or whatever.

Here’s what you can do with game discussions:

  • View and reply to comments from other NFL fans

  • Reply to comments with emojis

  • Talk to Yahoo experts and get your questions answered

  • Receive notifications when other fans respond to your comments

Please note: You will need a Yahoo Sports account to comment or respond.

There are two ways to join game discussions through the Yahoo Sports app. You can select the recommended game maps from the home tab or you can find them by going to the game pages. With both options, you’ll see a new “Join the Discussion” button the first time you open them.
