Nov. 19 – One person was killed in a crash Tuesday in Spokane Valley.
According to a social media post from Washington State Patrol District 4, the fatal crash involved two cars and occurred near Trent Avenue and Park Road. A 64-year-old man died at the scene, according to a WSP news release. A 20-year-old was unharmed.
Investigators believe the cause of the crash was the 64-year-old driver’s failure to yield the right of way while driving through the intersection.
The westbound lanes were temporarily closed Tuesday.
