David Ellison’s $2 billion Paramount deal

David Ellison, film producer, tennis fanatic and heir to a technology fortune, is in negotiations to take control of Paramount Global, the media giant that owns CBS, MTV and Nickelodeon. He and his supporters have agreed to pay just over $2 billion for Shari Redstone’s National Amusements, the family company that controls Paramount, but a number of hurdles stand in his way. Bloomberg’s Michelle Davis has more.
