Deere raises earnings outlook while farmer demand remains strong

(Bloomberg) — Deere & Co. raised its financial outlook for the year as demand for farm equipment remained robust despite falling crop prices.

The world’s largest farm equipment maker expects net income for fiscal 2023 to be between $9.75 billion and $10 billion, the Moline, Illinois-based company said in a statement Friday. That’s above the May outlook for $9.25 billion to $9.5 billion, and it’s on par with the Bloomberg consensus of about $9.4 billion.
