Nov. 28—BEMIDJI — Defensive driving refresher courses will be offered in December at the Bemidji Senior Center and on Zoom.
The four-hour courses are intended for drivers aged 55 and over who want to get a discount on their car insurance or need a refresher course to remain eligible for the discount.
Participants will learn defensive driving tips, law changes, vehicle technology and road safety, according to a news release.
Participants can choose from the following lessons:
Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the Bemidji Senior Center, 216 3rd St. NW. The lesson is held from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a certified instructor from the Precision Driving Center of Minnesota. The cost is $24. To register, visit
