Ryan Brasier’s time with the Dodgers officially ended on Tuesday, with the veteran -reliever being exchanged less than a week after an assignment to the Chicago Cubs.
Brasier, 37, was last week by the Dodgers DFA’d to make room on their 40-man selection for newly signed veteran-reliever Kirby Yates.
The Dodgers were reportedly shopped on the trade market for that time and eventually found a partner on Friday in the Cubs, who took over the eight -year -old veteran after a 2024 season in which he had an ERA of 3.54, but also missed a considerable time with a calf injury.
The Dodgers also sent cubs in cash considerations, which will cover part of the $ 4.5 million brasier, is due this season.
