Billionaire Elon Musk was ordered to attend a hearing in Philadelphia on Thursday charged by District Attorney Larry Krasner about his $1 million giveaway to voters.
According to a court document, the hearing will begin at 10 a.m. in the City Hall courtroom in Center City.
Last week, Krasner sued Musk, claiming Musk and his super PAC are trying to influence voters in next week’s presidential election between former president Donald Trump and vice president Kamala Harris.
“The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office is charged with protecting the public from public nuisance and unfair business practices, including illegal lotteries.
