MINNEAPOLIS – Flurries will pass through parts of Minnesota on Wednesday, with arctic air expected to arrive in time for Thanksgiving.

The high temperature in the Twin Cities Wednesday will be 29 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds.

Up to an inch of snow is possible in west-central Minnesota, as well as a dusting of snow in the metro. The impact of travel must be minimal.

On Thanksgiving, a cold front will bring gusty northwest winds and wind chills in the single digits to low teens. Showers are possible in the eastern areas.

Arctic air arrives Thursday evening, bringing lows in the single digits or below zero and wind chills below freezing.

The cold, dry weather will continue Friday through Sunday, with wind chills ranging from the single digits to minus 15.

Next week it will gradually warm up to almost 30 degrees with small chances of snow.
