The Philadelphia Flyers will be an obvious team to watch at the deadline. As the club rebuilds, they have several trade candidates, including Rasmus Ristolainen, Scott Laughton and Morgan Frost.
While the Flyers can sell some pieces, they shouldn’t be opposed to adding something if it helps them in the long run. When they look at their schedule, they have two specific needs that they need to take into account.

First, adding a top-six center for star rookie Matvei Michkov should be on their to-do list. It’s no secret that they could use more skills in the middle, so they need to monitor the centers over time.
Another area the Flyers could improve is their goaltending. Their goaltending trio of Samuel Ersson, Ivan Fedotov and Aleksei Kolosov all have save percentages under .900. Ersson has the best save percentage of the three, at .883. So it would be understandable if the Flyers were keeping an eye on goaltenders on the trade market, especially if their deals still have more than a year left on them.

Nevertheless, it will be fascinating to see what moves the Flyers make from here at the deadline.
