Gas prices in Colorado are down from last week: see how much here

State gas prices fell for the second week in a row, reaching an average of $2.76 per gallon of regular fuel Monday, down from last week’s price of $2.89 per gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The average price of fuel in the state has fallen by about 35 cents since last month. Gas prices across the state last year were as low as $2.53 on Jan. 22, 2024, and as high as $4.10 on Feb. 20, 2023, according to the EIA.

A year ago, the average gas price in Colorado was 4% higher at $2.89 per gallon.

The average price of gas in the United States last week was $3.04, making prices in the state about 9.3% lower than the national average. The average national gas price is down from last week’s average of $3.05 per gallon.
