NEW YORK — A child has been reunited with her grandmother after she was abducted from a Queens supermarket on Thursday, but police are still searching for the suspect, law enforcement sources said.
Police sources tell CBS News New York that the victim is a 9-year-old girl who was led to the suspect’s car in the parking lot of the Queens Village grocery store. They returned 20 minutes later.
We hear the girl has been reunited with her grandmother, who was in the supermarket bathroom when the crime occurred.
Police are now looking for a man in his 60s who is driving a brown Honda Civic.
