PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — High pressure will be the main weather factor for the rest of the work week, bringing plenty of sunshine, pleasant temperatures and low humidity to the Philadelphia region.
Wednesday will be a cool and crisp morning with a sunny and mild afternoon. A bit more warmth will return in the second half of the week, but temperatures will still be near or slightly cooler than normal with highs in the low 80s Wednesday through Thursday.
No rain is expected for most of the week until late Friday, when our next system arrives: an approaching low from the Mid-Atlantic meeting a cold front from the west.
Right now, it looks like rain will be coming Saturday, mainly in the afternoon and evening as the front approaches. Temperatures will rise to the mid-upper 70s Saturday, with mid-70s and clear skies on Sunday.
The NEXT Weather Team will keep you updated on changes this weekend, but for now, enjoy this great weather in early September.
