MINNEAPOLIS – Police say no one was injured when a home in north Minneapolis was targeted by gunfire early Saturday morning.

The Minneapolis Police Department’s ShotSpotter system alerted officers to the scene at North 46th Avenue and Camden Avenue, about a block west of North Lyndale Avenue in the Lind-Bohanon neighborhood, just after 1 a.m.

Officers soon found a home suffering from bullet damage and “evidence of gunfire” in the street, while investigators collected “at least a dozen shell casings,” police say.

One person was in the home at the time and was unharmed. Police are still investigating and say they have not yet determined a motive for the shooting.
