HONOLULU (KHON2) – More than 200 Hawaiian Airlines guests were welcomed to Honolulu with a new slate after taking the first direct flight of the season between Hawaii and New Zealand.

The airline resumed service on Saturday, November 16, with HA446, which will take 278 passengers to and from both locations three times a week.
‘Leading-Leading Connectivity’ Now Available on Hawaiian Airlines Airbus Flights
Hawaiian Airlines said HA445 will depart HNL at 1:05 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, arriving in AKL the next day at 9:20 p.m.
Flights from AKL to HNL are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:30 PM with same-day arrivals at HNL at 9:15 AM

Once in Honolulu, New Zealand travelers have the opportunity to visit more than 140 destinations within the combined Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines network.

This year also marks the first time New Zealand travelers will experience Starlink Wi-Fi since its addition in September.
