Global hospitality company Hilton has unveiled plans to launch the first LXR Hotels & Resorts property in China, further expanding its luxury portfolio in the country.
The company plans to open the hotel in Xi’an in 2027 in partnership with Zhong Ding Guo Sheng.
Since its founding in 2018, LXR Hotels & Resorts has expanded globally to a collection of 13 luxury hotels, each offering enhanced experiences, design and services.
The upcoming Xi’an property will join Hilton’s luxury portfolio in China, joining Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Conrad Hotels & Resorts, as well as the recently signed Signia by Hilton.
In the luxury segment, Hilton currently has 33 hotels in operation and another 21 in the pipeline in Greater China. Hilton’s partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World further enhances its luxury offering.
Located in Datang Everbright City, the hotel is close to attractions such as the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Daci’en Temple.
The LXR Hotels & Resorts hotel in Xi’an will have 118 rooms. The hotel’s design features a sunken courtyard that offers guests a tranquil retreat, while the dining options offer a contemporary take on local flavors, blending Xi’an’s heritage with modern innovation.
For wellness and fitness enthusiasts, the hotel has a swimming pool, a fitness center and various wellness experiences. Additionally, guests will benefit from the Hilton Honors loyalty program across Hilton’s 24 distinct hotel brands.
Zhong Ding Guo Sheng Chairman Li Cheng Ping said: “This new hotel will provide guests with the perfect blend of distinctive cultural features, diversified accommodation choices and unique tourism experiences.
“With Hilton’s expertise in luxury travel and global hotel management, we believe LXR will become a new tourism landmark of this city, attracting more visitors and thus contributing to the high-quality tourism development in Xi’ an.”
