Home in Woodbury badly damaged by fire, no injuries reported

WOODBURY, Minnesota — A devastating fire tore through a home in the eastern Twin Cities Metro area Sunday afternoon and then spread to an adjacent home.

The Woodbury fire chief reports that people were home when the fire broke out, but passersby alerted them in time.

Several cars were also destroyed by the fire.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.

Firefighters from seven nearby towns were called in to help extinguish the flames.

No one was hurt.
