Hoxton Wealth acquires the British Family First Financial Services

Hoxton Wealth, an independent financial advisory firm, has added more than £85 million in assets to its books with the purchase of Darlington-based Family First Financial Services.

This deal further deepens Hoxton Wealth’s presence in the UK market.

Family First has expertise in assisting clients with unexpected life events, retirement planning, savings and investing, real estate purchases and a variety of insurance needs.

The company provides comprehensive financial planning services, including advice on wills, potential inheritance taxes and the benefits of setting up trust funds.

Hoxton Capital Management acquisition director Thomas Maddison said: “This acquisition is a strategic fit for Hoxton Wealth, significantly strengthening our presence in the North of Britain and further advancing our aim to deliver financial lifestyle planning at scale across the country.

“I would like to thank Mark Horner and Ian McFarlane from Family First for their collaboration throughout this process.

“Their dedication has been instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition. Horner will personally oversee the hangover period, introducing clients to their new Hoxton advisors and ensuring all necessary steps are taken for a successful integration.”

This acquisition marks the fifth UK independent financial advisory firm (IFA) that Hoxton Wealth has acquired in the past year.

Hoxton Capital Management’s assets under management now exceed $2.2 billion.

The company was founded in the UAE in April 2018 by British expat Chris Ball, formerly of deVere Group, and now has 300 employees worldwide.

“Hoxton Wealth Acquires UK’s Family First Financial Services” was originally created and published by Private Banker International, a brand owned by GlobalData.
