A disturbing discovery at the Boston Public Works Yard on Monday morning.
The Bost Police Department received this 911 call that said, “400 Frontage Rd. Public works callers took out the trash, went to dump a blue bin, and found a body.”
A photo sent to 25 Boston shows what appears to be a blue bin in the back of that black truck with crime scene tape wrapped around it.
Earlier Monday morning, someone called in at 311 Winchester Street in Boston’s Bay Village asking someone to remove a shopping cart with a blue bin in it.
Neighbors tell Boston 25 that the cart had been there since at least 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
“That basket was right here on the sidewalk in Winchester where I wanted to move because it was blocking part of the road,” said Bill, a neighbor who didn’t want us to use his last name.
It was still there Sunday night and Monday morning, but a neighbor says it was moved to the end of the street.
“I saw it last night when I took out my trash. I saw it again this morning when I went to work,” he said
After a neighbor called 311, the blue box carriage was picked up and the trunk was closed… as you can see in this photo, it was picked up.
Sources tell the Boston 25 News that it was taken to the public works yard shortly after this creepy 911 number went to the police.
“…went to dump a blue bin… found a body.”
“That’s actually really, really scary,” says Mary O’Beirne, who lives down the street.
