Iran claims the launch of dozens of missiles fired at Israel

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has fired dozens of rockets into Israel.

Previously, the US government had warned of an “imminent” Iranian attack on Israel, warning that such a direct attack could have serious consequences for Tehran.

The Israeli Army (IDF) is asking the population to remain in bomb shelters and bunkers for the time being due to the ongoing threat.

“Iran’s attack continues. You are asked to remain in a protected area until further notice. The explosions you hear are from interceptions or dropped projectiles,” the Israeli army said on Tuesday evening.

Israel’s Iron Dome air defense system identifies and intercepts missiles.
