Jaguars’ Logan Cooke is a candidate for point of the year, with a great 73-yard kick against the Packers

The Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars are scoreless in the second quarter of their Week 8 matchup.

However, Jaguars punter Logan Cooke provided the highlight with a spectacular 73-yard kick on Jacksonville’s first series of the game.

This couldn’t have been a more perfect punt, hitting the turf at the 10-yard line and going out of bounds at the 2 to pin Green Bay back nearly the entire field.

After taking over, the Packers couldn’t do much as they failed to get a first down and go 3-and-out. Green Bay had to punt from their 7-yard line, giving Jacksonville the ball at the 50.

Cooke is 12th in the NFL with an average kick of 49.8 kicks. That will certainly improve after his flourish against the Packers.
